We had a total of 13 student anglers as well as 8 participating boat captains there. The tournament was held at Bull Shoals Lake in Bull shoals Arkansas. The weather was cold, gloomy, and overcast. Fishing was tough but some teams managed to bring fish to the scales. The winning team of Emma Johnson and Brittney Redding, the two of their 3 girls on the team, said it was tough. They caught their 4 total fish on shaky heads and suspended jerkbaits in around 40 feet of water. The second place team of Carter Kaiser and Alex Graddy brought one nice Kentucky to the scales. They caught most of their fish of the day on finesse worms and jerkbaits over about 30 feet of water. The 3rd place team of Chase Hutchings and Bill Johnson, boat captain, brought one Kentucky to the scales. Continue reading
