It was a beautiful Spring New England day with plenty of sunshine, 50 degrees with a northwest wind. It was a tough pre-spawn bite, but a few teams found the keys to success. Massachusetts was well represented with all 14 teams residing in the Bay State. A total of 22 bass, all largemouth, were brought to the scales for weigh-in. Big fish went to the team of Laplante & Donato with a 3.34 pound largemouth. Third place went to the team of Makela & Clark with a total weight of 4 pounds 8 ounces. The team of Ostrosky & Schenker placed 2nd with a total weight of 4 pounds 13 ounces. The 2026 Tri State Championhip went to the team of Sugden & Murphy, bringing 8 pounds and 8 ounces to the scales, anchored by a 3.27 pound largemouth.
