Marshall County (KY) High School Club Holds SUCCESSFUL First Ever Fall Open Tournament!

October 22, 2011; Gilbertsville, KY – Marshall County Kentucky High School Fishing Club held it’s first ever Fall Open tournament for all active SAF clubs who wanted to participate. It was a great tournament with 36 total boats and schools in Kentucky and Illinois from Calloway County, Murray High School, Trigg County High school, Obion County, Mulenburg County, Anna/Johnsboros High School and Marshall County!! Great turnout from the community support at the weigh-in.

The results of the Marshall County High School Fall open are as follow:

1st place went to Calloway County : Jessie Vaught & Tyler Schanbacher with 11 lbs 2 oz

2nd place went to Marshall County : Evan Owen & Cameron Lynn with 9 lbs 10 oz

3rd place went to Marshall County : Aidan Cox and James Gibbs with 9 lbs and 1 oz Continue reading

Crump & Mason Crowned Colorado State Champions!

Oct. 8, 2011; Lake Pueblo – The Colorado Bass Federation and The Bass Federation (TBF), in partnership with FLW Outdoors, hosted the inaugural Student Angler Federation Colorado High School Fishing State Championship, Saturday October 8th at Lake Pueblo State Park on scenic Lake Pueblo in Pueblo, CO. The state championship was a two person team event for students in grades 9-12. Nebraska Wins Regional Event

COLLEGE STATION, Texas (Oct. 15, 2011) – Drew Bailey and Adam Diehl from Lincoln High School, Neb., won the High School Texas Regional tournament held on Lake Somerville Saturday. TBF along with FLW Outdoors held the high school tournament in conjunction with the FLW College Fishing Texas Regional.

Lincoln High School caught the only five bass limit and weighed 11 pounds, 3 ounces to beat McPherson High, by 4 pounds, 10 ounces. Continue reading
