It was a crisp 34 degrees on Saturday morning when sun broke on the horizon of Lake LBJ and we had 28 boats with 56 student anglers representing 5 High Schools in the Central Texas area – Florence, Leander Rouse, Hyde Park, Lake Travis and our host team Marble Falls. We were so fortunate to have the support from JP Wilson (Police Chief) and the Granite Shoals Police Dept who roped off Blue Briar Park and ramp for only our event. Kentucky High School Athletic Association Regional Registration Opens March 1 for Fishing
Registration will run from March 1-April 1
BENTON, KY (Feb. 25, 2013) – The Kentucky High School Athletic Association (KHSAA) announced it will host four high school bass fishing regionals earlier this year. Registration for the regionals opens March 1 for all KHSAA member schools. All registrations will take place at www.highschoolfishing.org.
Registration will be open March 1-31. To enter, teams must be members of an approved high school fishing team at a KHSAA member school. Students wanting to participate at schools that have not yet authorized a bass fishing team should contact their athletic director. Continue reading
Oregon High School Fishing State Championship Set For April 13
PONCA CITY, Okla. (February 20, 2013) – The Bass Federation (TBF), in partnership with FLW announced today it will host the 2013 Student Angler Federation (SAF) Oregon High School Fishing State Championship on Saturday, April 13.
