RE:  FAN High School Fishing Series Event number 2
March 14, 2014

FAN High School Fishing Series heads to the Big Bass Jewel of Central Texas; Lake Austin April 5, 2014.
Lake Austin, nestled in the heart of the State Capital City holds some very impressive stats- OK, not the size of the lake at merely 1600 surface acres; mainly  it’s one of the state’s largest producers of 13+ largemouth bass with 20 certified, “Toyota SharelunkerBass”.  Lake Austin is currently tied in 6th place with Lake Falcon top ShareLunker producing lakes.

“Bringing the second qualifying tournament of the series to Lake Austin in April is very exciting to us! Knowing any one of these high school anglers could very possibly bring in the next ShareLunker of the year” Stated , Jeff Cook Executive Director of Faith Angler Network.

This will be the second of three qualifying events in the FAN High School Series. The top 50% of the representing High School fishing teams will earn the right to compete in the FAN High School Championship this fall with the chance to win over $5000 in scholarships and prizes.
