The Bass Federation Announces Sponsor Partnership with Cabela’s

Ponca City, Oklahoma – The Bass Federation Inc. (TBF), the nation’s oldest and largest organized grass-roots fishing, youth and conservation organization, announced today a new TBF sponsor partnership with Cabela’s, the World’s Foremost Outfitter of hunting, fishing and outdoors gear since 1961.

The new Cabela’s sponsorship will touch all aspects of the TBF’s adult, youth and conservation programs companywide, not only with national events, but also in every TBF affiliated state federation in the United States and Canada. Continue reading

Oregon High School Fishing State Championship Set For April 30

Ponca City, Okla. (Feb 22, 2011) – The Bass Federation (TBF), in partnership with FLW Outdoors, announced it will be hosting the inaugural Student Angler Federation Oregon High School Fishing State Championship, April 30 at the Columbia River, Hood River, OR. The state championship is a two person team event for students in grades 9 -12. Registration for high school anglers and their “coach,” who will provide the boat they compete in, is open online at HighSchoolFishing.org or by calling 580.765.9031. Check-in starts at 3pm on Friday, April 29 at the TBF tournament trailer lakeside at the Hood River Marina, with a mandatory rules briefing at 6pm.
