Texas High School Open April 6th on Ray Hubbard

Texas High School Open to be held on April 6th on Lake Ray Hubbard. $50.00 per team entry fee. 100% payback with $3000.00 added money to be given as scholarships for winning teams. Overall team championship trophy as well as individual plaques. First 25 teams to enter get a free bass rod. Student angler’s boat captains will receive $20. gift cards and a 15% discount card. Registration will be on Friday April 5th starting at 5:00 pm followed by student seminars and a Captains meeting. There is no off limits and trailering to any ramp is accepted. Saturday Fishing times is from 6:45 till 2:00 pm with weigh in starting at 3:00 pm. All high school entries MUST be SAF members before entries are excepted. Marble Falls Hosts Winter Open on LBJ

3rd-Place---Hunter-Delz-and-Lyle-SchmidtIt was a crisp 34 degrees on Saturday morning when sun broke on the horizon of Lake LBJ and we had 28 boats with 56 student anglers representing 5 High Schools in the Central Texas area – Florence, Leander Rouse, Hyde Park, Lake Travis and our host team Marble Falls. We were so fortunate to have the support from JP Wilson (Police Chief) and the Granite Shoals Police Dept who roped off Blue Briar Park and ramp for only our event. It proved to be a game changer with another adult tournament on Lake LBJ that had 138 boats!
