Gossett and Shields Dominate the Alabama SAF State Championship!

Alabama WinnersRyan Shields and Zeke Gossett used a solid pattern of flipping frogs and jigs in shallow water to win the 2013 Alabama SAF State Championship with an impressive 5 fish limit that weighed 16 bs 3 oz.

The scenic setting of Coosa Landing in Gadsden, Alabama and Lake Neely Henry set the stage for a beautiful day where the teams battled the Holiday crowds and a couple of local tournaments while fighting for the regional qualifying spot at the TBF/FLW Southeast Conference Regional event help in October at Lake Lanier, Georgia. Indiana High School State Bass Fishing Championship Set For June 9 at Patoka Lake

PONCA CITY, Okla. (May 23, 2013) – The Bass Federation (TBF), in partnership with FLW are excited to host the 2013 Student Angler Federation (SAF) Indiana High School Fishing State Championship Sunday, June 9 at Hoosier Hills Marina in Celespine, Ind.

The state championship is a two person team event for students in grades 9-12. Registration for anglers and their “coach,” who will provide the boat they compete in, is online at HighSchoolFishing.org. Check-in is 6-7pm at the Hoosier Hills Marina on Saturday, June 8 with a mandatory rules briefing to follow. Minnesota and North Dakota SAF High School Fishing State Championship Set for Medicine Lake

PONCA CITY, Okla. (May 24, 2013) – The Bass Federation (TBF), in partnership with FLW are excited to host the 2013 Student Angler Federation (SAF) Minnesota and North Dakota High School Fishing State Championship. The event will be held June 1 on Medicine Lake in Plymouth, Minn.

The state championship is a two person team event for students in grades 9-12. Registration for anglers and their “coach,” who will provide the boat they compete in, is online at HighSchoolFishing.org. Check-in is at 5:30am CST on Saturday, June 1 in Clifton E.
