Due to a schedule conflict the Oregon High School State Bass Fishing Championship has been moved to Cottage Grove Reservoir on Sunday July 20th.
Registration will be at 6:00am PST going out of the West County Ramp. Scheduled launch time will be 6:30am with the weigh-in set for 2:00pm PST.
Colin Meyer and Hudson Schamberger brought in four bass from the mighty Mississippi river in Lacrosse to win the Wisconsin High School State Bass Fishing Championship and advance on to the TBF/FLW Central Conference Regional Championship this fall in Huron Ohio.
The Aquinas Bass Club duo had 8lb 4oz to edge out Steven Sellnow and Mitchell Vanert of Watertown who also had four Mississippi beauties that tipped in at 7lb 13oz to finish second in the event that found the mighty river swollen to flood level stages for the event. Finishing third was the tandem of Ryu and Kin Xiong from Brookfield Central High School who had just three fish that weighed 7lb 6oz.
Due to high water levels on the Ohio River the West Virginia SAF State Championship has been postponed. Stay tuned for the new date. We will announce the rescheduled date in the near future.
