Purpose:  2nd Annual GCHS Spring Classic

NORTH LINCOLN HIGH SCHOOL HOSTS LAKE NORMAN TOURNAMENT

Hosting school: North Lincoln High School

Purpose: Invitational Tournament

Entry Fee: $0.00 per boat Optional $10.00 Big Fish

When: Sunday, January 29th, 2017

Blastoff: 7:30 AM Weigh-in: 3:30 PM

Where: Lake Norman, Little Creek Access Area:

On I-77 take exit 36 onto NC 150 west and cross Lake Norman 3 times before turning left onto NC 16 south. Follow NC 16 south for 4.5 miles to Webb Road. Turn left onto Webb Road and follow for 1.7 miles. Then turn left onto SR 1376 (Burton Lane). Follow SR 1376 for 1.0 mile to the access area on the right. If coming North on Old Highway 16 make a right onto Webbs Road. At the end of the road make a left onto Burton Lane. Burton Lane dead-ends into the boat ramp parking lot.

 

Registration deadline: 7:15 AM Sunday January 29th, 2017.Teams may register at ramp. If you do not attend the pre-tournament meeting you MUST BE AT THE RAMP EARLY to REGISTER

Other Notes: There will be a pre-tournament meeting on Friday, January 27th at Dry Pond Tackle and Outfitters in Denver, NC. The meeting will begin at 6:30.

 

All participants must bring proof of membership in Student Angler Federation in order to participate in the tournament. All student anglers must have a parent/guardian sign the release of liability waiver and all boat captains must sign the release of liability waiver.

 

This is a team tournament.

 

Two student anglers per boat and each team must be accompanied by a boat captain.

 

Student anglers may fish solo as long as they have an accompanying boat captain.

 

Five Bass Limit-2 fish any size, all others must be at least 14”

 

Certificates will be awarded for first and second place. Big fish winners will receive all of big fish pot AND  donated item from Dry Pond Tackle and Outfitters. There will also be drawings held at the end of the weigh-in.

 

Tournament Waters include any area accessible by boat and NOT marked with No Boats or No Fishing signs. No casting over skimmer wall at main 150 bridge and no casting over yellow boat barricade in McGuire Steam Station discharge area.

 

ALL TBF/SAF Rules will apply.
