McCullough & Hamlin Win High School Event at Lay lake

Rain, wind, rising water levels and muddy water did not stop this team from catching several spotted bass during this event. The used a drop shot in 10-14 feet of water to catch most of their fish.
In second place was the Sand Rock Wildcat team of Brody Robison and Levi Cox with a nice limit weighing 12-12 pounds. Finishing third was Eli Chambers & Hunter Herfurth from Vinemont High School with 9-01 pounds. The Big Bass of the day went to JC Silvey & Skyler Stevens with a nice 3-13 lunker.
Most of the teams fished deeper water to catch their fish. Successful Baits included a drop-shot rig, a Ned-Rig. Spinnerbaits and a squre bill crankbait.
