Vidor High School Pirates wins Championship on Sam Rayburn

The Texas High School State championship was held on one of the states premier lakes in east TX at Sam Rayburn. The High School teams took to the water on the hunt for the big Rayburn Bass. Our first place team did just that. Caden Williamson and Braden Norton from Vidor High School Pirates brought an impressive Crush City five live limit weighing in at 23 pounds 01 ounce. Not only did the team weigh in the biggest bag of the day but they also brought to the scale a 7 pound bass that secured the team with a pair of Lew’s reels.

Second place representing Montgomery ISD fishing team was Colton Hatzold and Jett Moore the 2nd place team had a solid crushing conservation 5 live limit of fish that weighed 15 pounds and 5 ounces.

Rounding out the field in third place was Mason Clark and partner Wayne Krohn. The Harleton Wildcats team weighed in a 5 live Crush City Crushing Conservation limit for 15 pounds and 3 ounces.  For full results and photos CLICK HERE
