Hildenbrand and Terrell advance to 14th Annual HSFWF and National Championship

Clear skies and cool morning on Oneida Lake, launching from a protected bay, anglers hitting the main lake experienced a bumpy ride to their starting spots. The day proved to be tough, as anglers struggled to bring in keeper sized fish. Mid-morning winds laid down and the temperature quickly climbed, all in all anglers had a good day on the water.

Caleb Hildenbrand and Parker Terrell will be advancing from the NY State Championship to the 14th Annual High School Fishing World Final and National Championship in La Crosse, Wisconsin. In 2nd place, was Gavin Fuller and Logan Wood with South Jefferson Spartans. Mynderse Fishing Team, Aiden Levis and Cullen Herron took 3rd place.

Team Grad wins Washington State Championship at Potholes Reservoir

The 2022 Washington State Championship was held on Potholes Reservoir in Morton, WA. The team of Aiden and Dylan Grad took 1st place with 14.86 pounds. In 2nd place was Wesly Opsahl and Nolan Williams with 11.11 pounds. Caiden and Dylan Hampshire came in 3rd place with 7.71 pounds. Congratulations to Dylan and Aiden Grad, they will be advancing to the 14th Annual High World Finals and National Championship in La Crosse, WI.

 

Haren and Smith take 1st place at Alabama Open Challenge on Logan Martin

On 09/24/2022 Alabama Bass Federation hosted a TBF Student Angler Federation (SAF) Open Challenge Tournament at Logan Martin, launching out of Lincoln’s Landing. High School anglers from Alabama and Georgia competed in the event.  The weather was excellent, starting off slightly on the cool side but warmed up quickly during the day.

Following the days competition, the team of Joe Haren-Cohen Smith of Pike County Pirates, Zebulm, GA, claimed first place honors with a five fish limit weighting 12.11.  Haren-Smith limit was anchored with a fish with the weight of 3.15.  Andrew Jones-Carson Underwood of Hewitt-Trussville Fishing were second with 11.02, followed by Storm Clark-Levi Bolton of Harris County, Hamilton, GA with 9.01.  In fourth was Branson Maupin-Caleb Myres of CCH Anglers with 8.13; in fifth place was Kolton Bagwell-Mason George of Albertville High School Fishing with 8.11.
