$20 per boat entry fee which includes big fish

Plaques for top 4 teams, winning school (1st place boat) and big fish

Prizes based on number of entries

Draw prizes

Open to SAF students/teams. Must be members of SAF due to insurance requirements

Teams must confirm no later than Sept 18 and team coaches must collect entry fee by that date in order to ensure proper prize payout.

Doom & Anderson Named First South Dakota High School State Champs

photoThe Bass Federation (TBF), in partnership with FLW and TBF’s newest State Federation, the South Dakota Bass Federation were excited to host the 2013 Student Angler Federation (SAF) South Dakota High School Fishing State Championship on Saturday, August 3. The event was held on Lake Mitchell launching out of the park ramp on the west side of Lake Mitchell off of Harmon Drive.

Avon High School Pirate anglers Trey Doom and Brendan Anderson were crowned the first ever South Dakota High School Fishing State Champions and have advanced to the Conference Championship this fall. Continue reading
