“The Federation” Continues its Expansion with the Hiring of Industry Veteran Tammy Cox

Ponca City, Okla. – October 1, 2013 – The Bass Federation’s President and Chief Executive Officer, Robert Cartlidge, announced today the hiring of industrytammys pic (2) veteran, Tammy Cox, formerly of Pure Fishing.  Cox’s most recent experience was the longtime grassroots Marketing Manager for the Berkley product lines, among others. 

Cox joins the federation leadership team as the Director of Business Development for all properties under the federation umbrella, which includes: The Bass Federation (TBF), Future Fisherman Foundation (F3), The Walleye Federation (TWF), the Student Angler Federation (SAF) high school fishing program, National Bass Anglers Association (NBAA), Cabela’s North American Bass Circuit (NABC), and the Cabela’s Masters Walleye Circuit (MWC).  Continue reading

Chickamauga Invitational High School Bass Tournament

Date: October 5, 2013

Time: Safe Daylight till 2:00

Location: Chickamauga Lake –Ramp located next to swimming area at the dam

Entry Fee: $20.00 per boat (High School Anglers Only)

Limit: 5 fish Limit all largemouth and spots must be 15 inches and smallmouth 18 inch

After weighing in at the dam, an escort will take all the anglers and convoy approximately 5 miles to Sportsman’s Warehouse for an awards ceremony and meal. All anglers who fish are guaranteed a gift bag of product and gift certificates more than their entry fee.

  • Need Entries Called in by Thursday October 3rd to get head count for food

Cascia Hall (OK) Hosting Commando Open on Oct. 20 at Keystone Lake

When: October 20th, 2013

Where: Keystone Lake – New Mannford Boat Ramp

Entry Fee: $15.00 per boat to help pay for boat ramp fee and prizes (Pay at ramp)

Only open to SAF members due to insurance policies.

 1st,2nd, and 3rd places will receive prizes

Take off will begin promptly at safe-light

Registration: Pre-register by October 17th
