Taylor Harris and Drew Mendoza put together a five fish limit weighing 12lbs 15oz to win the KHSAA Region 1 Championship and advance to the KHSAA State Championship May 13-14 on Kentucky Lake.
Coming in second by just two ounces and also from the Muhlenberg County team were Billy Hardison and Nathan Flener with a limit of fish weighing 12lbs 13oz to claim the runner-up spot.
In third, was the Christian County team of Brandon Floyd and Chance Glass. They were just slightly off pace with a limit weighing 12lbs even. Rounding out the top four were Wesley Dunn and Sarah Morehead from the McCracken County Mustands with a limit weighing 11lbs 15oz.
The top 16 teams of the event qualified for the KHSAA State Championship to be held May 13-14 on Kentucky Lake.
