The Colorado SAF State Championship was held at Pueblo Reservoir on June 5. There was a total of 95 pounds of bass weighed in and seven teams brought a five bass limit to the scales. The competition was fierce between the high school teams this year. But, despite high water levels and lots of weekend fishing pressure the kids held their own and brought them to the scales. The race was tight as the top five teams were within three quarters of a pound of each other. Best of luck to all of this years graduating seniors in your future fishing careers.

1st Place : Jordan Evans and Robbie Gonzales with coach Tyler Hassler from The Fountain Valley Junior Bass Club 10.76#
2nd Place: Dexter Flick and Ryan Smith with coach Dexter Flick Sr. from Olathe High School 10.67#
3rd Place: Morgan Fitzgerald and Kade Sites with coach Sam Heckman from Salida High School. 10.13#
