Max McQuaide and Ryan Richardson from Tyngsboro High School brought in a five bass limit of fish that carried a net weight of 18lbs 7oz to outdistance the field and win the Massachusetts State Bass Fishing title. The win overall also names them the Tri-State Champions.
Coming in second overall and also winning the Connecticut State Championship with four fish that weighed 10lbs 6oz was the team of Ryan Kuzmit and Lucas Baksay from Fairfield Prep.
Coming in third overall and winning the Rhode Island State Championship was the team of Tyler Conde and Cameron Rhodes who had three fish good for 6lbs 10oz.
All three teams will advance on to the Northern Conference Regional Championship in September on Lake Champlain.
