Riles & Wilkinson Named 2012 Mississippi HS Fishing State Champs

Mississippi High School Students were invited to attend the 2nd annual TBF Student Angler Federation High School Open Championship that was held on the Tennessee Tom Big-Bee River, Columbus pool.  Students signed up via online registration @ highschoolfishing.org to compete in the event. Anglers were required to fish as as teams in a pick your partner format tournament.  Teams were limited to fish in the Columbus Pool.

All SAF members and state championship participants qualify for the largest event in high school fishing, the 2012 High School Fishing World Finals to compete for thousands of dollars in college scholarships and prizes. Each team that qualifies for a conference and/or national championship will receive a travel allowance to help offset expenses. The National Champions will also each receive a $5,000 scholarship to use at the university of their choice.
