Pine Bluff Arkansas Welcomes Southern Conference Regional Contestants

High School Fishing LogoThirty Seven teams from across the South Central region of the country will participate in the Southern Conference Regional Championship Saturday October 17th at the Pine Bluff/Jefferson County Regional Park. The Arkansas River will play host to these two person teams from a seven state area who are trying to advance to the TBF/FLW High School National Championship next spring at a location to be announced shortly.
Registration will be on Friday evening from 5:30pm to 7:00pm at the Waterfront Meeting facility in the same park. The rules meeting will immediately follow the check-in at 7:00pm. Take off will be Saturday morning at 7:00am and the weigh-in will begin at 3:00pm at the TBF Trailer located at the Regional Park facility. The top three teams from this event will advance with the ultimate goal of competing and winning the High School National Championship where a $10,000 scholarship awaits the winning team.
Participating teams are from Kansas, Oklahoma, Missouri, Arkansas, Texas, Louisiana, and Nebraska. All of these teams qualified through their respective state championship or a sanctioned TBF/FLW Open.
