2nd Annual Southwestern and Pulaski County High School Bass Fishing Tournament
The 2nd Annual Southwestern and Pulaski County High School Bass Fishing Tournament was held on Lake Cumberland, January 31st. Sixteen teams of high school anglers from six different schools left Burnside Island in the frigid temperatures early Saturday morning. The Southwestern team of Corey Frye and Logan Loveless took 1st place 17.55 and Big Fish with a 5.10 smallmouth. In second place with 13.52 lbs., was the Pulaski County team of Kellen Wilson and Justin Mayfield. 3rd place with 10.27 was taken by the Pulaski County team of Levi Blevins and Michael Whitaker.

North Georgia High School Tournament Trail – 2015
Sunday March 1st 2015 – Trail Tournament – Lake Lanier – Little Hall Park
Sunday April 19th 2015 – Trail Tournament- Lake Lanier – Little Hall Park
Sunday June 7th 2015 – Trail Tournament – Lake Lanier – Little Hall Park
- Top two teams following the 3rd Trail Tournament will receive travel stipends for the SAF World Finals in July.
Sunday July 19th 2015 – GHSF Classic – Lake Hartwell – Tugaloo State Park
- Top 20 teams following the 3rd tournament will receive free entry into the classic. Teams not in the top 20 are eligible to fish but must pay their entry fee.
- Requirements:
- Open to all current high school students
- Must be a member of Georgia High School Fishing
- Must have a boat captain that is at least 19 years old and is not a high school student
- We will have trophies and prizes for the top 5 teams at each tournament
