The 2025 SAF Alabama Open Tournament was hosted by the Alabama Bass Federation and the City of Lincoln/Park & Recreation, Lincoln, AL. The event was launched at Lincoln’s Landing, Lincoln. Anglers experienced a two-hour fog delay. Once the fog cleared the weather for the remainer of the day was light wind and warm temperatures.
Following the days tournament competition the team of Deason Horton-Brody Holliman of Shelby County High School Wilds Cats finished first place with a 5 fish limit pushing the scales to 14.07. Second place team was George Webster-Ian Crocker of Helena Bass Club with 12.02. Blalock Sullivan-Ellis Turner of Heard County Bass Anglers were third with 11.13.

Blaze Sullivan-Parker McCoy of Mortimer Jordan Bass Club were fourth with 11.04; Connor Hale-Hayes Mayer of Helena Bass Club were fifth with 10.15; Aiden Castleberry-Kaiden Brooks of Priceville were sixth with 10.09 and rounding out the top seven was Gavin Peterson-Hunter Linton of Fairview Fishing Team with 9.14.

These top seven teams have qualified to fish the 2026 High School National Tournament scheduled for June 23-27, 2026, Lake Cumberland, KY. Congratulations to all for your qualification.
