The stage was set for an epic event for the 2025 Vermont state tournament. The summer pattern was in full swing and anglers could target both large and smallmouth bass any way they wanted. Every team was able to bring in a full 5 fish limit. When the weigh in was complete the team of Harrison Whitman and Ethan Plante took home the win.
The Champlain Valley Union team weighed a five fish limit weighing 16 pounds 7 oz anchored by the lunker smallmouth 4 pounds 3 oz a mix of finesse and power fishing tactics prevailed.
Finishing in a close second with a weight of 16 pounds 1 oz the Mt Abraham Eagles. The Middlebury Tigers team topped out the top 3 teams with a five fish limit of 14 pounds 8 oz.
