The spring high school fishing season promises to end with a splash as Calloway County High School sponsors it first tournament, the Froggyland High School Bass Fishing Classic on May 12th at the KenLake State Park Marina in Aurora, Kentucky. On-air radio personality, Windy Waters, stated, “We are pleased to promote the newest and most exciting high school sport. Froggy is looking forward to a long relationship with the CCHS Laker organization.”
Bracken Robertson, club president, reports that, “the club is thrilled to be able to host our tourney on Kentucky Lake, and in particular, at KenLake. This area has so much to offer fishermen.”
The event will take place at the KenLake Marina with registration beginning at 5:30 AM CST and first boat out at 7 AM. The weigh in, hosted by the CCHS Lakers and FLW begins at 3 PM. The club is expecting a big crowd for the weigh-in with door prizes being given away to participants, boat captains and to the public in attendance.
